The duo have been working together since meeting in 2007. They first trafficked in underground Hip-Hop circles, earning regional success together and individually. Together, they crafted a handful of projects together, with the assistance of noted Hip-Hop luminaries such as Ski Beatz, Nottz, Wordsworth, and Camp Lo. But in 2011, fueled by a shared interest in electronic music, the duo embarked on totally different musical journey and created the album "The Incredible Fantastic." Trew and Haywood were fortunate enough to have assistance from renowned artist Casey Shea and award-winning engineer Andy Baldwin in the album's creation. That was the album that formed the foundation for what was to become FlyNeverDies.
Following the album's release, CoolhandTrew was called to tour the east coast with the alternative band Kid is Qual. The tour proved a successful launching ground for this new musical endeavor, helping to further expand Trew's audience, and creating some lasting business partnerships. "The Incredible Fantastic" went on to be streamed over 600,000 times and was picked up by various advertising agencies for play in stores nationwide. Having found their niche, Haywood and Trew decided to continue creating, and musically grew past generic categorization. And that artistic freedom is what FlyNeverDies was built upon. The creation of their music, and their future, is boundless!
